Adult Mentors Needed
"My favorite part of being an adult mentor is being involved with a group of people who love to have fun, but are also willing to confront the hard questions of life together week in and week out.  It is a great place for everyone to feel OK about being human, a great atmosphere to learn how to live life better, whether you're laughing or crying." - Joe Knight, High School Mentor

ImageOur Youth Ministry is growing.  We have experienced a steady climb in youth group attendance thanks to a team of committed Adult Mentors. They give time and energy to support the lives and spiritual development of middle school and high school students. And they have a lot of fun doing it.

"I love being there for the kids and just letting them know 'I'm here for you, and will love you, no matter what'" -Tracy Killmer, High School Mentor

"I enjoy being an Adult Mentor because of how energized I get when around our youth. Their energy, excitement, and enthusiasm in learning about Christ is contagious."- Dave Reed, Middle School Mentor

"I love watching the lights come on for the kids and they begin to grasp a bit of who Christ is. It's such a joy to share the faith with them." - Erin Stube, Middle School Mentor

ImageThe youth group has grown beyond our capacity to support individual kids.  We need at least five adults who would value the opportunity to join a thriving ministry that is changing people's lives.  Requirements:

  • Have an active faith.
  • Be willing to nurture friendships with people.
  • Join weekly Youth Group meetings, and participate in periodic activities and events.
  • Participate in bi-monthly Adult Team Meetings and Quarterly Youth Ministry Meetings
  • Finally, having love for our Lord, this great church, and our terrific young people is the most important requirement.
