Mission:

To provide information about events and ministries that our Covenant Community needs to know. By doing so we support faith building and fellowship, encourage participation and stewardship. As a result, our community grows and celebrates fellowship with Christ as we learn to love one another as we learn to be loved by Jesus.

Activities:

Activities and processes performed by the Communications Ministry include determining what information the parish needs to know, and when, verses what other ministries WANT the parish to know. This ministry strives to maintain consistency across the www.sdlife.org Web site and online calendar, Life@St. David’s (printed weekly bulletin,) This Week@St. David’s (weekly e-mail) and other communications vehicles. The team also works closely with program ministry leaders to ensure a consistent, informative and timely flow of information to the parish.

There are two ways to submit information about this parish ministry’s news, events and meetings: electronically or printed/handwritten pages. To submit printed or handwritten pages, just drop them off to the Communications mailbox in the church office during normal business hours (Monday-Thursday, 9 am to 4:30 pm.)
