I have been married to Beth for 21 years and am blessed with two wonderful children, Brian and Erin who are 12 and 9 years old. We previously lived in England where both Brian and Erin were born. Although we enjoyed living overseas we were interested in returning back to the US, establishing roots, and serving the community. I was raised as a Lutheran but have previously attended Episcopal churches as Beth was born and raised an Episcopal.

Professionally I served as a captain in the US Army Signal Corps in multiple overseas and US locations. I am currently working in the IT services industry as an operations director for a consulting firm.

We found St David’s in the spring of 2006 when we moved back to the US and immediately felt at home. We enjoyed and appreciated Kevin’s challenging message of a covenant community. I believe our community is blessed to have Mary Kay currently serving as the rector. Mary Kay brings a wonderful spiritually-based and healing leadership to our community. Soon after we arrived I was challenged to join a shepherd group that challenged me and helped my spiritual growth. I have also attended many of the adult education classes we offer. I have learned and grown from each of these classes. I have not always learned what I expected but have grown in my faith from these sessions.

My entire family is involved with the church. Brian is a member of the youth group and Erin is a member of the Girls Group. Beth is a member of a shepherd group and have attended several Bible study series.

My visions and goals for St David’s include:

  • Covenant-based community serving all its members
  • Open and transparent leadership for the challenges of our covenant community
  • Vibrant youth group providing the care, nurturing and growth so important for our young members
  • Covenant groups providing the care, learning, support and love that best comes from a small group
  • Outreach ministries to share God’s blessings and love

These are exciting times. The current economic times challenge us professional and faith lives. I believe, with the support of our covenant community, we can grow from these challenges.
