FFN Crowns New Chili Winners for 2010!

ImageCongratulations to Dennis Kellen and Jason Krasilovsky, the tied winners of the 2nd Annual Family Fellowship Night Chili Cook-off! (See winning Recipes below.) Families gathered on a cold wintery night, Saturday, January 9, to taste from 11 chili entries.

Everyone had a great time debating the merits of cilantro as a secret ingredient, making snowflake picture frames and playing some serious games of Jenga, Sorry, Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, Uno and much more. The other winners tonight are the clients of Good Shepherd Alliance (GSA.) All of our families generously donated much needed pillows and cleaning supplies.

If you weren't able to join us but would still like to make a donation there is a bin in the narthex where you can drop off your items. Every Monday in January the bin will be taken over to GSA. GSA is currently in urgent need of mops and pine sol for cleaning and diapers in size 5 and 6.

Thank you to all who could come and enjoy the fellowship and those who couldn't be with us were in our prayers. We hope you can join us in March for our next FFN event. Look for an upcoming flyer!Image
