The first annual Advent Festival took place in the Narthex on Sunday, December 7, 2008, from 2:00-4:00pm (view the flyer.) Ornaments were distributed the Sunday before, decorated and returned at the Festival to help decorate the church Christmas tree. Ornaments were also decorated at the Advent Festival by the children. Other activities included crafts, cocoa, popcorn and caroling.

The Family Fellowship team joined with the Advent Festival Committee to plan this event, as well as celebrate the mission of providing new jeans for families in Loudoun County through Holiday Coalition.
