Well, Jim Tracy was right.

Last week I posted about the status of the Provide a Hopeful Future Capital Campaign. Last week we were very close to achieving our goal. We had said that we would cancel the campaign and release people from their pledges if we failed. Jim believed late pledges would send us over the top. He was right.

Today after church Carrie Rush recorded last minute pledges the parish received in the offering basket. She handed me little yellow Post-It note before she ran out the door for lunch.

The total is $370,337. The goal to pay off the first mortgage was $360,000. So Jim Tracy was right. Thanks to 137 contributing families, we hit the goal.
