Our parish is a church of leaders. We call, encourage and send faithful leaders to serve as Christ's healing presence in the world. When Jesus walked the shores of the Sea of Galillee, when he taught the hungry masses the Word of God and fed them with loaves and fishes, he was calling them to a life of higher commitment.

When Jesus said, "Take up your cross and follow me," he was a leader calling out to leaders. Maturity in faith is development in leadership. Wherever a person begins the journey of faith, it always ends in a life of greater significance, meaning and purpose.

The vitality of our church rises only to the level of the faith of our people. We call one another to greater adventures in faith. We encourage one another with mutual support, understanding and grace. Finally, we send one another out into the world with God's blessing to stand with whoever may be in need of the healing presence of Christ Jesus.
