We are a covenant community where no one stands alone. Together we are learning to love one another as we learn to be loved by Jesus. Any time. Any place. “It is the hope that all faithful congregants of the parish will be drawn into the discernment process to assist the Vestry in deciding the course of action for us on May 28, 2008,” said Maureen Carey-Back. “Because we recognize that nothing we do will be successful without God’s blessing, many of us have agreed to set an hour of our life aside to ask God for that blessing.” Parish leaders have =launched a forum dedicated to the Vigil on the parish social networking site. “We offer this booklet in hopes it would assist you in your prayers, but it is not intended to take the place of your personal conversation with Jesus,” Maureen said. “Prayer exists not to change God, but to change us. As we talk with Him and pour out the longings of our heart He is honored and glorified. “Our community’s most powerful resource is communion with God through prayer. The results are often greater than we thought were possible.” Thank you for giving sacrificially of your time to pray for our Covenant Community.
