In January, our parish will elect two new members to the Vestry to replace retiring members Hoby Patrick and Eric Ruttenberg. Both have served their full three year terms and may not run again this year. These two retiring members make up the Vestry Nominating Committee.

The Vestry Nominating Committee will nominate a minimum of five candidates and members of the parish are also encouraged to nominate additional candidates before the congregational meeting (date to be determined.)

The nominating committee has formulated a series of qualifications that reflect on the attributes that members of a maturing Vestry, such as ours, need to face the many challenges ahead of it. Candidates must:

1. have a demonstrated sense of commitment as reflected in our Five Root Values and Seven Spiritual Disciplines; and
2. be in good standing with the church and have completed a 2008 commitment card.

The Vestry asks those interested in becoming candidates to prayerfully consider the responsibility that goes with being a member of the Vestry.
