How can you help? Please donate individually-packaged lunch, dinner and snack foods, juice boxes or shelf milk. You can drop off your donation on the steel rack in the back left corner of the Narthex. If you prefer, you can make a financial donation (cash or a check made out to St. David’s with Domestic Outreach in the memo line) using a red envelope located near the rack in the Narthex. Red envelopes can be placed it in the offertory basket or returned to the church office. For a detailed list of food items please click here.
St. David’s has generously donated food to Interfaith Relief since January 2005. On the last Sunday of every month, red bags are handed out after each service. Please fill a bag or bags with non-perishable food items and bring them back the following Sunday. If you didn’t get a red bag, any bag or box will do. Place the food in the wagon in the Narthex and your donation will be delivered to Interfaith Relief. The following items are suggestions and needed throughout the year: Cereal, 100% fruit juice, canned tuna, canned chicken, Peanut butter (small jars), Jelly, Canned fruit, Spaghetti sauce with meat, canned vegetables, Hearty soups and Chef Boyardee meals. |
