6:00 - 6:45 pm Rocknoceros Concert
6:55 pm Children invited to the church for a program of stories, song and a short video while Parents make final bids on auction items
7:00 - 7:15 pm Closing of Silent Auction Group items in 5 minute increments
Check out table opens - Narthex
7:45 pm Check out concludes

Check-In Process

Welcome! Once you have checked in at the Welcome Table, you will have received this Auction Book and a Bidder Number to use during the Silent Auction. Both 50/50 Raffle Tickets and Donate a Night Out are available at the Check-In area.

50/50 Raffle Tickets @ Check-in:

Buy raffle tickets for $1 each or six (6) for $5 at the Check-In table or around the concert area. Half of the proceeds will go to the Preschool and half to the raffle ticket holder winner. The winner will be drawn at 7:20 pm and you must be present to win.

Donate a Night Out!

…the equivalent, that is! To support the preschool Scholarship Fund and Special Programs Fund, we’re asking you to consider donating the monetary equivalent of a night out. What does it cost to get a babysitter, dinner and a movie or just go to lunch? Could you skip it once and support the preschool Scholarship Fund and Special Programs Fund for the kids? And hey, you get to take a tax deduction, too!

Look for the Donate a Night Out box at the both the Check-in & Check-out tables. Checks should be made out to St. David’s Episcopal Preschool POPS, and in the memo line write “Donate a Night Out." Each donor will receive a receipt for tax purposes following Auction week.

Check-Out Process

  1. Bring your Bidder number to the Check-Out Table in the Narthex. All winning bids will be posted on the wall in the Narthex.
  2. Don’t forget to consider making a donation to “Donate a Night Out!” also located at Check-Out.
  3. You may pay by cash, check or credit card: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express. (Keep in mind that paying by check will be the fastest method.)
  4. Upon arrival to the Check-Out table, it will be determined which item(s) your bidder number won. Please let the person know if you would like to pay with cash/check or credit card. (Please be aware that a 1.5-3% processing fee is charged by the credit card companies to the preschool per transaction.) You will be provided with a "Winner Confirmation" sheet listing all item(s) won and your total payment due.
  5. Next, you will be directed to take your Winner Confirmation to the appropriate cashier for cash/check or credit card payment.
  6. Once paid in full, your item sheets will be marked “paid” by the cashier.
  7. For gift certificates, the cashier will hand you an envelope with the certificate enclosed and the cashier will keep the Bidder Sheet and Winner Confirmation sheet.
  8. For all other items, please take the Bidder Sheet(s) back out to the bidding area to one of the Auction attendants. You will trade your Bidder Sheet for your item(s) at pick up. Please do not take your item without the assistance of an Auction attendant.
