Our Youth Ministry encourages faithful relationships between adults and youth. During their teenage years, children journey through the magical and challenging process of becoming adults. These very formative years see God very actively at work in the formation of a person.

But God does not do this work alone. The Holy Spirit works through the guiding hand of a faithful covenant community. Young people value friendships with adults who to listen to them and who are willing to stand with them through these sometimes difficult years.

A number of adults have responded to a call to befriend our youth as Adult Mentors. They receive training and must pass a background check to assure that they have no record of abuse. They give the best gift we could every offer our youth: Their time. And we are grateful.

Youth Ministry Volunteers Needed!

Do you have a passion for spiritual education? Do you enjoy engaging with teens and young adults? If your answer to either of these questions is “yes,” please consider volunteering to work with us on our Youth Ministry team.

We currently are looking to fill four positions:

• MS/HS Bible Study Leader (Sundays, 9 am);
• Youth Group Leader (Sundays, 6 pm);
• HS Bible Study Leader (Tuesdays, 7 pm); and
• Event Chaperone.
