Small Groups...The Key to Connecting at St. David's
Here at St. David’s, we are blessed to have so many people who participate in making this community not only possible, but a warm and welcoming place—a place where God’s transformational work can be done!
A key building block of faith for many at St. David’s is participation in a small group. All teams are led by parishioners who volunteer their time and talent to welcome others and guide sharing of selves, prayer, and discussions of how to live our faith in this complex world. Small groups: Shepherd, Covenant, and Bible Study When: weekly or bi-weekly Make-up: women, men, mixed, families
Established in March 2015, the St. David’s chapter of The Brotherhood of St. Andrew is not simply a social group or service project group for men, The Brotherhood of St. Andrew is a ministry of and for men. Founded in 1883, it was named for the Apostle Andrew, the first to be called by Jesus. Each time Andrew is mentioned in the New Testament, he is introducing someone to Jesus.
Our mission is to provide a men’s group that helps in the spiritual growth, fellowship, prayer and worship with our brothers in Christ, leads us to mentoring our younger generation, and opportunities for service to our church and community. We accomplish this through our three disciplines of Prayer, Study and Service.
If you’re interested in fellowship with other Christian men, dedication to prayer and scripture study, and service to others, then you’ll find that with us. Contact us at BOSA@sdlife.org.
