This task proved especially difficult because having a future is something these boys have never had time to think about.  Thinking about what you want to be when you grow up is a difficult task considering the fact that, before coming to El Hogar, the boys were more worried about the basic necessities of life namely food and shelter. 

Though it certainly does involve manual labor, the mission to El Hogar is much more about building relationships; relationships with the boys, the teacher, the workers, our other mission team members and with God.
