This ministry gives our youth (rising 4th graders and above) the opportunity to be an integral part of our liturgy by leading the procession into the sanctuary, carrying the cross and candles and placing them on the altar. The crucifer also serves the celebrant (presiding priest) at the Eucharist. Training is provided.

Families might have special dinners at home on such days as Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter.  But every Sunday at church is a special supper.  At this special supper, we recall Jesus’ love for us, and reaffirm our relationship with God and each other.  The acolytes of this parish help that dinner to proceed without any hiccups.

Training sessions will be held on Sundays between the 9:15 and 10:45 services.
