The REACH Mission Team is over-subscribed with youth interested in paricipation on the Mission Team. More youth have signed up than there are available positions. In the past we have experienced a five to ten percent dropout rate. Last year the team was full, but by the time of the mission trip three slots were open. This year the REACH Leadership has developed a policy to determine which youth are wait-listed. The goal is to be objective, fair, and to encourage the development of covenant community among our youth. 1. First priority is given to youth who are active in our Youth Group. 2. Second priority is given to youth whose parents are active members of the parish, having registered their presence by the return of a Commitment Card to the parish office. 3. Third priority is given to youth whose parents are associated with the parish but who have not returned a Commitment Card. 4. Fourth priority is all others.
