Truth or Consequences Schedule
Written by Jim Tracy

ImageAt its recent retreat the Vestry responded to the Rector's challenge to lead the parish in a discernment process that would inform the Vestry's decision on May 28, 2008 that will determine the future of the parish.

To this end, the Vestry has developed a workshop called, Truth or Consequences.  The workshop involves a "game" that helps parishioners grapple with our capacity for ministry in very practical ways.  Following the workshop parishioners will have a much deeper understanding of the challenges confronting our parish.

There is now a tentative schedule.  Exact days of each week will be announced a little later.

Each workshop will be between 2-3 hours.  “First Wave” Facilitators need to commit to two meetings. Those who participate in the second wave and third waves are asked to commit to one 3 hour meeting.  Shepherd Groups will be encouraged and scheduled to participate in the workshop as a group.

Those who complete the First Wave will facilitate the second wave.  The third wave will catch all the people who want to participate in the workshop but can’t make the first or second wave.  For those who participated in one of the three waves, and who wish to continue their participation in this discernment process, another meeting will be held.

There are still a few spots open for first wave facilitators.  Contact  our General Manager This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   if you wish to participate in that wave.  The second and third waves will be open to everyone.  The Vestry strongly encourages everyone to participate.
