The Church office recently received this letter from “an Ashburn Family” in response to a bake sale to benefit the REACH mission team.  REACH is an Outreach activity that provides service-learning opportunities for Middle School and Sr. High School youth.

“Dear Youth and Leaders of St. David’s Episcopal Church,

“I was glad to contribute to your Mission Project and partake of your delicious baked goods which I shared with my family.  I left wishing I could do more.

“Well…my husband was at a lacrosse game with my son and found the enclosed $10 in the grass.  Since we could not return it to its owner we wanted to pass it on to your REACH Mission Team.

“May this summer be a blessed experience for the givers and the residents of Oceana, WVa.
“God Bless You, from an Ashburn Family and your co-workers in Christ.”

You don’t have to drop dollar bills to support the REACH Mission Team.  Come to the Pentecost Festival on May 18.
