Lay Eucharistic Ministers (LEMs) care for those who are shut in their homes and are in danger of being isolated. They carry bread and wine that have been blessed at the Sunday service to those who cannot make it to church.

In serving communion to one to five parishioners each Sunday, LEMs share the risen life of Jesus Christ with many who need it on a short term basis and with those few who require long term care.
