We continue in that spirit as we intentionally plan each component of our new 10am Worship Service. We invite each of you to consider taking an active part in supporting our Sunday service as: Virtual SD Ambassador (on Facebook), Ushers (2), Greeter, Reader, Acolytes (2), and Crucifer. We would sincerely appreciate your time. If you are interested in serving our community in joyful worship, please sign up by Thursdays: Sign-Up Genius.

Join us for in person Sunday School classes Sundays after the 10am service in the Annex.
Join us and together we can foster a love for Jesus and an understanding of God's world. It is our goal to support and encourage children through God’s love, one child at a time. Classes are fun and engaging, with a focus on learning Bible stories through hands on experiences such as arts and crafts, songs, and games through nature. Classes meet both outside and in the Sunday School classroom in the Annex, which is the building located outside the church.

Realm Application Launch
The church is moving to a new kind of record keeping solution called Realm. It primarily serves the administrative needs of our staff, but it also offers some exciting opportunities to support the way you are involved. Not only will this improve work life for our ministry staff, it will make it easier for our church family to connect with each other, keep up with what's going on, and grow as a connected community of believers. Please check your email for an invite. If you don't see an invite or have questions let us help answer! Visit here to login! Visit here for more information on the Realm launch.
St. David’s Church and School has committed to support 100 students at three local schools each week during the 2021-2022 school year through the Backpack Buddies program. For those not familiar with this program, Backpack Buddies is designed to provide children experiencing food insecurity with nutritious, kid-friendly, pre-packed meals for the weekend—when they would not have access to a school’s free lunch and breakfast. We need your help restocking our shelves, packing bags and delivering food bins each week for students at Cedar Lane Elementary, Discovery Elementary and Broad High School. Please look over the opportunities below. Thanks in advance for your support!
Preferred Items for Backpack Buddies (leave on back shelves in Vestibule):
1. Fruit juice boxes
2. Individual serving cereals (1 oz or less)
3. Individual instant oatmeal cups or bags
4. Cereal bars and peanut butter crackers
5. Fruit snacks
6. Individual canned fruit or applesauce cups
7. Chef Boyardee ravioli, Beefaroni, spaghetti cups
8. Chicken noodle soup
9. Easy Mac & Cheese cups and boxes of macaroni and cheese
10. Small canned or packets of tuna or chicken
11. Individual snack bags - cookies, Cheez-its, Goldfish
12. Individual shelf-stable milk (white or chocolate)
Additionally, food can be provided through our Amazon Wish List:
Backpack Buddies Volunteer Opportunities
Please consider supporting the Backpack Buddies program by volunteering to help with packing or school deliveries. Packing bags of food takes place in the St. David's Annex each Sunday, begins at 11:15am and usually takes less than an hour depending on the number or volunteers. Individuals, families and groups are welcome to help and days or times can be adjusted for your group.
Food deliveries to each school occur during the week, Mon-Wed between 9-1pm. It includes picking up bins of food bags from the church, dropping them off at the school and returning empty bins to the church. This usually takes about an hour for both schools, 45 minutes for just one.
