Journey in Faith classes begin April 11
Do you have questions? Questions about the Episcopal Church, about spirituality and faith, about covenant community? Join us for Journey in Faith, an exploration of the Episcopal Church, its history, worship and theology, and a conversation about our own spiritual journeys. This class is the preparation class for those who want to be confirmed in the Episcopal Church, or who are seeking to be received into the Episcopal Church from another denomination. However, it’s open to all who want to learn more about our rich tradition or deepen their understanding and faith. Rev. Mary Kay will lead this class.
Please contact Karen in the office to sign up. Class will begin on April 11 and run for 4 Sundays - 4/11 - May 3 - from 1 to 2:30 pm.
Welcome Coffee Time April 11 & 12
Are you new to St. David’s? We’d like to get to know you and tell you more about our St. David’s community. If you’ve visited virtually in the past year, please join us for a coffee time after our streamed service at 10:45 on April 11 or 7 pm on April 12. Rev. Mary Kay, and members of our welcome team will join you on zoom to fill you in on what’s been happening and answer your questions. Open this document to view the Zoom instructions. We hope to see you there.
Alleluia Ministry Next Drop April 12
The Alleluia Ministry wishes to thank all who donated to support our families over Easter. Together, we served 35 families, providing them a wonderful meal for Easter. The Alleluia Ministry is so vital for the health of the families we serve in that we focus on fresh, nutritious produce, dried beans, rice and Maseca. Read the written testimonial about the Alleluia Ministry by Bob Chirles.
This week, if you are able, please donated fresh produce, in particular, green peppers. Our regular donation hours at the Annex are Mondays from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.
A complete list of items needed can be found here or you can support financially using the online option at http://onrealm.org/saintgabriels/-/give/now.
Welcome Back April 18
Our inaugural in-person indoor service will be held on Sunday, April 18th at 10 am. Based on social distancing requirements and the configuration of our sanctuary, attendance at indoor services will be limited to 50 worshippers. On-line reservations will be required to attend all worship services. Masks, social distancing, and hand hygiene will be required at all services. No exceptions will be made.
Worship will include both a children’s sermon and adult homily. We will be streaming this service on Facebook and our website until all restrictions are lifted. We are hoping to add outdoor worship services in May as well.
