Our Gardens

“Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed.
The LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food.”

~ Genesis 2:8-9

Restoring Eden Garden

The Restoring Eden Garden was created in 2012 with the help of a grant from the Mustard Seed Foundation. This garden provides a beautiful space for alternative and contemplative worship; educational use by Sunday School, Preschool, KWILD, and adult forums; and a gathering place for all generations and ministries.

Our vegetable garden provides not only nourishment for those in need but enhances additional spiritual nourishment within our community. We have provided fresh vegetables for Loudoun Hunger Relief and Grace to Go.

The flower garden and vegetable garden are both maintained by our volunteer "Green Team." If you'd like to get involved, please contact Maureen Carey at mcarey@sdlife.org
