Youth Ministry

At St. David’s, Youth Ministry is about relationship-building. Growing in relationships with Jesus and one another, building trust and respect, studying the Bible, involvement in the community, worship – both here at service and/or in new ways just for youth. We aim to live the Gospel…well, try the best we can, build disciples, study for Confirmation and explore what that BCP (Book of Common Prayer) all about . You are uniquely and wonderfully made. Your voice matters. Tell me something good or not so good about how you feel about church and God. The youth ministry team makes a commitment to meet you wherever you are on your spiritual journey.

Email me at youthministry@sdlife.org and/or call me in the office Tuesday through Thursday at (703) 729-0570. Zoom and office hours by appointment.

St. David’s supports youth as they grow in their life in Christ, walking faithfully with young people as they transition from child to young adult. Ministry with youth is a bridging ministry that calls for passion, patience, and faithfulness – pointing out the sacred in the midst of the chaos and beauty of adolescence. You are invited to explore the many ways we will grow closer to Jesus together.

Safe Church

Cultivating a safe environment is essential for youth formation. At St. David's, we follow the guidelines set forth by the Episcopal Church in the United States of America and the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia. Here are links to relevant documents:
