Wednesdays during Lent, 1:00 PM
Stations of the Cross is a prayerful way to recall Jesus’ last day on earth. For centuries pilgrims came to Jerusalem to retrace the steps Jesus walked as he carried his cross to his death. During Lent we commemorate the Passion of Jesus by praying and reading portions of Jesus’ last journey, putting ourselves in the procession that followed Jesus all the way to the cross.
Join us in the Sanctuary on Wednesdays at 1:00PM during Lent for the Stations of the Cross.

Tuesday, Feb. 13th, 5:00 - 7:30pm
Join us for St. David’s Annual Pancake Dinner on Tuesday, February 13th, 5:00pm-7:30pm; sponsored by the Emmanuel Johnson Chapter of the St. David’s Men’s Fellowship. Historically, Shrove Tuesday (Fat Tuesday or Mardi Gras) is the last day of “fat eating” before the fasting period of Lent. Pancakes are associated with the day because they were a way to use up rich foods such as eggs, milk, and sugar before Lent. Burning of the palms will take place in preparation for Ash Wednesday. We will create an ‘Alleluia’ banner to be hidden until Easter. Donations of any denomination are greatly appreciated and will go towards the repair of our stained glass windows.
Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024, 7:00 PM
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the penitential Lenten season. Christians all over the world gather to remind each other of our mortality. As you are marked with the cross, “Remember you are dust and to dust you shall return.” The same God who created you from the very earth to which you will return – the very God of Moses and Sarah and Abraham is also God for you. You are God’s beloved.
Invite a friend and join us for the 7:00 PM service at St. David’s.
Ashes to Go schedule is located on our events page.
